What happens if you already have a 10-digit number assigned from another relay provider?
You will be able to keep your own 10-digit numbers for VRS assigned by a default provider and use Federal VRS for your non-emergency calls.
If you received a Federal Relay toll-free number before 12/31/08, please register for a local number at www.fedvrs.us. Your Federal VRS toll-free and local number will provide the same location information in case of an emergency.

You must keep your location (address) information up-to-date in your Account Profile to ensure that emergency calls connect to the most appropriate 911 operator.
To make changes or updates on your Account profile, you can simply log in to: www.fedvrs.us and update your address in your Account profile.
Long Distance Relay Calls
There is no cost to receive a call using a Federal Relay Call Now number. Non-internet relay callers may incur long distance charges to place calls to VRS users, depending on their calling plans.
